Charlene and Rick were excellent hosts, super responsive and eager to fix any issues that may have popped up. The airbnb was lovely with all the amenities one may need. Overall we had a lovely stay.

If you want a comfortable, well-loved vacation home for your family, consider this. It’s obvious that a family uses the place frequently enough that it is well stocked and equipped, especially if you plan to cook. The place is in good shape, including the dock, & there is plenty of outdoor furniture, great separation of space (2 living rooms), comfortable beds. We arrived at the changing from winter to spring, so some of the winterization was still in place (plastic around the screened in porch) but it did nothing to keep us from enjoying the space. Bonus to not have to travel with linens or towels, and all of those provided by the house were very nice. The house isn’t fancy but if you want a cozy, comfortable, convenient & solid place to spend your money, this is it. We enjoyed stars so bright they looked almost unreal, & a peacefulness rarely found when so close to town. Yes, some of that was because of the time of year but also it’s just what the Adirondacks offer. Excellent hosts!!

Every space was comfortable and had character. It felt like you were invited over to stay with family. The surroundings were beautiful and there were so many places to sit and enjoy them.

Peaceful retreat In beutiful Old Forge to spend Father’s Day weekend. We felt right at home and enjoyed the grill, fireplace and the majestic view. Extremely quiet and peaceful, highly recommend!
