About

Welcome to Littlefield Lake House! This is one of two houses on the property (larger, farther from the beach) with direct beach access to beautiful Lake Ontario. The sandy beach is perfect for lounging and building sandcastles. This house can be rented on its' own or with the other house (see other listings on my profile). Nightly rates are increased for less than one-week bookings and vary, please message for details on pricing. We provide discounted rates for bookings greater than 1.5 weeks.

Good to know

The space has many rooms and a spacious living room-kitchen perfect for big family vacations. Central AC and heating in house. Wifi present throughout the house. Washing machine and dryer available for use. You will have your own deck with grill and outdoor seating. Please note that there is a propane tank available for the grill, but the levels are not monitored or refilled. If the tank runs out you may exchange it at a local store. We have two ocean kayaks and life jackets available for use. There are 5 smart TV's in this house. Two are 55" located in common areas, one 32" in an upstairs bedroom, and two 40" in the master bedrooms. There is a pack n’ play (collapsible crib) in the master bedroom should you need it. The water is treated and safe to drink, however, we also have a 5-gallon water dispenser in the kitchen if you prefer purified water. You must bring your own 5-gallon water jugs if you want purified water. We do not provide them. Please take time to review the House Rules upon booking. This property belongs to an HOA and we will not be able to rent the property unless the rules are abided by ALL guests. The house rules are also posted at the property and available in the Welcome binder.

Other Details to Note

Nightly prices do not include taxes and Airbnb fees. If you are interested in a one night stay during off season, it may be accommodated, but an additional cleaning fee would be charged to cover the cost of turning over the property. We have a minimum night stay of 3 nights in peak season (May-September) and do not allow one night stays.

House rules

No fireworks Smoking outside only Please empty ash from fire pit into woods, not on the beach Please do not touch the extra linens- they are for the housekeepers. If you require clean sheets, you can wash the ones on your bed and put them back on. Please leave the Emergency lane/public access lane clear (it is the driveway on the left hand side when pulling into the property). All garbage put in the dumpster must be bagged. The lid on the dumpster must be kept down at all times- we do not want to attract animals. Quiet hours are from 11pm-sunrise. Please be mindful of the neighbors if you are using the firepits and/or deck spaces late at night. You have access to the beach front directly in front of the property- please be mindful of neighbors and limit your spreading out to just in front of our property. Neighbors like to be able to use their beachfront (which they own) as they please without disruption from others. Walking the length of the beach is permitted and acceptable. Per our Home Owners Association: -The road speed limit is 10mph for all vehicles. Incoming traffic has the right of way. -Dogs must be on a leash and owners must pick up after their dogs. -No motorized vehicles allowed on the beach at any time. -No jet skis within 500 feet of the beach shore and/or swimmers -Yield to oncoming boats, trailers, and emergency vehicles

Neighborhood

We are 5-10 minutes from Southwick Beach State Park, Robert G Wehle State Park, and Westcott Beach State Park. Great location if you enjoy fishing, swimming, and boating. We are 30 minutes from Watertown, NY, 1 hour drive to Alexandria Bay and the spectacular Boldt Castle in the Thousand Island region, making it perfect for day trips! We are also an hour from the Canadian border. Syracuse, NY is 1 hour south of our location and is a great shopping destination.

Guest access

You will have access to the entire house and our legally owned beach front.

We are pretty secluded (one of the perks of this property)- you can use Uber and taxi to get around if needed.
